There seem to be two dominant ecard affiliate programs currently available for birthday bloggers to partner with. The JibJab program is found in CJ and has a 50% commission on orders. Purchase amounts seem to vary, but it looks like the average cost is $8, resulting in a $4 payout on an order with JibJab. The HappyBirthdayToYou program is in ShareaSale and has a flat $5 commission on every order. The average purchase price looks to be $10 on HappyBirthdayToYou ecards.
The JibJab affiliate program definitely has a strong brand name going for it in the US market. Designs tend to appeal to a younger demographic. Jibjab has an excellent photo adding feature.
The HappyBirthdayToYou affiliate program's main feature for consumers is the ability to add a recipients name to recorded into the birthday song. A nice touch. They also have the ability to add photos to the ecard, but the system is a little clunkier to use.
